The Glorysmile iD Stain Eraser is a two-step oral care treatment designed to identify and remove extrinsic stains on teeth. It works by first identifying areas of stain buildup with a Stain Identifier pen, which uses a red dye to highlight areas with increased biofilm (bacteria). Then, the Stain Eraser paste polishes away these stains, promoting whiter and brighter teeth.
1. Stain Identifier:
- Purpose: Highlights areas of stain buildup on the teeth.
- How it works: The pen contains a red dye that binds to the biofilm (bacteria) on the enamel, making stains visible.
- Application: Apply a layer of the gel to each tooth, focusing on areas where stains are suspected.
2. Stain Eraser:
- Purpose: Removes the identified stains.
- How it works: The paste contains a mild abrasive (like kaolin and bentonite clays) that helps polish away surface stains
- Application: Apply a pea-sized amount to a dry toothbrush and brush for one minute, paying extra attention to the red highlighted areas.
